What I liked

Working on a real world application that was full stack and working with technologies I had little to no experience working in. It was a learning experience both technically speaking and leadership wise. I worked with a team of two other interns and worked with 3 supervisors who were available for questions for the majority of the internship. We worked with AngularJS, MongoDB, Spring Boot, Wildfly, and Docker. We also organized and tackled tickets using Jira.

What I wish was different

The internship experience was a little unorganized. When we asked for help on what we were working on, often times the supervisors had to drive over to where we were to help us since they were working in a cleared space.

Advice

If you want to do full stack web development, there is no better place to start then online courses. In a development field, usually a portfolio of your best work shines above actual internship experience because the quality of internships can vary. Show your willingness to learn on top of this and you will get more job interviews.
