Everyone is willing to help you learn and find the right fit for you at the company. I'm not sure about all of the teams, but for mine I get to do the same work as the full time staff. They really value the interns and want to retain talent as well.

Everyone was super helpful in getting me started. Slowly gave me more and more responsibilities. They do skip level meeting so I got to speak with our director every month one on one.

Finance - Reporting and Analysis Intern
May 2018 • Madison, WI
What I liked
I love the team that I am on. Everyone is willing to help you if you are not sure what you are doing. I have also loved learning a lot about excel. Coming into the internship, I thought I knew quite a bit about excel. Everyday I work in excel and I have learned so much more than I already knew. I also loved the Intern ERG (Employee Resource Group) which is a group of all 70+ interns that get together monthly and have networking events and brought in speakers from different departments to talk about their career path.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have asked more questions to learn even more. I have learned a lot but you can always learned more. I also wish I would have asked to take on bigger projects to broaden my horizon.
Advice
Ask as many questions as you can - it shows you care and want to learn. Go above and beyond and your efforts will be noticed. Enjoy every day on the job and make the most of it to see if this type of position is what you want to do for the rest of your life.
