I liked the flexible schedule of work. The hours were 20/week, but I got to pick and choose when to work (depending on what you are doing and the faculty).
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time, research is always fast-paced. I wish student funding continued during the semester if needed.
Advice
Be ready for fast-paced work. Research is hard sometimes, writing intensive, and you have to be focused on results the entire time.

What I liked
I liked working outdoors and learning how to identify plant species. as well as being able to conduct my research.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have stayed longer, and I wish my hours were not restricted to 20 hours a week.
Advice
Stay hydrated, wear clothes you are okay with getting ripped or messed up in the field, and brush up on your plant identification species.
