Intern to the Anti-Human Trafficking Program Director

June - August 2021 • Tucker, GA

What I liked

I liked the mission of the organization, the opportunity to learn from experienced and knowledgeable members of the organization, and the friendly working enviornment.

What I wish was different

I wish that there had been a more set schedule for work to be done, but on the other hand, there was a variety of tasks I was able to do.

I whole-heartedly recomment interning with Tapestri to any students considering working in a non-profit field, social work, translation services, immigrant services, or with victims of trafficking and domestic violence. The internship goes by quickly, so absorb as much as you can and ask any questions you have.
