What I liked
The spontaneous business nature of a solar farm developer start-up meant that my duties at SMP were constantly changing. Unlike a larger utility scale developers, I was consistently relied upon to solve problems in a variety of formats. Working under Nick Minekime, someone with expansive renewable energy industry knowledge, was very informative.

What I liked
Sunrise Mountain Partners is a great company to work for and one that allows those new to the clean energy field to gain experience in a wide variety of industry-related roles. The work you do has a tangible impact on solar energy development and the larger clean energy transition. Nick and the rest of the team are friendly, ambitious, and eager to help young professionals break into the industry. I've learned so much already and am looking forward to continuing to work with SMP!
