The team I was apart of was very nice, helpful, and welcoming. The clients was faced with many issues but Safe Horizon prepared through many training programs.

I wish I could have received more training that would have prepared me better for the clients.

The experience I gained from working at Safe Horizon prepared me for working with many different kinds of people and helped me establish a great approach to clients.

What I liked
What I like the most was being able to give back to other youth who are I need of resources. I also enjoy making connections and building rapport with my coworkers
What I wish was different
I wish that COVID wasn’t something that interfered with everyone daily lives because of it many things were done differently and took away from the experience
Advice
Always go in as yourself with an open mind at all times you will be coming to contact with many different people from different background so be mindful of your actions.
