I liked being able to learn about reproductive justice in today's world, experience hearings on the hill, and travel to different conferences.

I wish I would have had my own project.
Advice
Try out experiences where you are able to travel! Traveling by myself changed my life.

What I liked
Strong support system and internship program allows for making new connections. The media team is tight knit and members are always available for check-ins and give great insight. The role is hands-on and fast paced. I got the opportunity to work closely with almost every member of the team.
What I wish was different
Internship is a part of a program which involves activities outside of day to day work schedule and responsibilities given by assigned team.
Advice
Come ready to work and get your hands wet. Work hard and it will be rewarding. Don't be afraid to reach out for help the staff is AMAZING!
