Phillips 66

Process Engineering Intern

May - August 2022 • Roxana, IL

What I liked

The people were wonderful! Each intern was assigned a mentor that was very helpful. The projects we were assigned were well-defined.

What I wish was different

There could have been more direction in the first third of the internship. It took a little while to get in the groove.

Advice

Ask questions! People are willing to help you. Don't waste time because you are confused about something.

What I liked

What I wish was different

The company as a whole is not diverse and this stems from a lack of diversity in the internship program. Perhaps recruiting from student organizations like SWE, SHE etc. would help them increase diversity all together.
