I enjoyed learning about and experiencing the day-to-day operations of a professional baseball team. As producer and host of the PawSox pre-game show, I also really enjoyed getting to know the players and having the opportunity to tell their stories.
What I wish was different
I wish I had the chance to do more interviews with players, but they are professional athletes on very busy schedules, so I understand why the opportunities were sometimes limited.
Advice
My advice would be to get to know the team and the community as much as possible.

What I liked
I liked what I got to learn about. I learned how ticket sales operate, what is asked of Minor League employees and how many hate you wear in Minor League baseball.
What I wish was different
I wish I was given more important projects. Although it was my first summer interning there, I wish I had a chance to prove my ability.
Advice
Always be on time, or always be early, never late. Always treat the customers well and with a smile.

What I liked
Everyone in the front office of the PawSox were so enthusiastic and engaging with one another, I liked how everyone was on the same page. Fans that I would regularly see attending games made my role more exciting because I learned that the smallest thing can go the longest way.
What I wish was different
The Commute (1 hour from my Home and 1 Hour drive Home) & actually getting paid...
Advice
Get involved with what the PawSox have to offer, don’t be afraid to dip your toes into something new because you never know where that’ll lead you to.
