One of the best internship experiences out there! The intern projects are perfectly tailored for the scope of the 10-week internship for your skill level and no direct experience with specific technology is required. You and 4 other talented college students develop a software product for a local non-profit with the help of a full-time project manager and tech lead. You learn about what consulting is like, what production level, full-stack software engineering is like, and you get the experience the amazing people and culture of Pariveda!
They have public outings for fun, team lunches, catered "lunch and learns" where you learn more about Pariveda, multiple social events every week, and tons of great people to hang out with and get to know over your experience. You get direct, hands-on development experience with a great project manager under the Agile development. You are given mentors who guide you along the way who help you set personal development goals. They are really focused on developing you as a person and at the end of the day really, really care about your progress and journey in consulting.
The Dallas office is where Pariveda is headquartered, and so it is a great office to be in because it is large and has tons of activities and interest groups to get involved in if you want.
The hourly rate, housing stipend, and signing bonus are very competitive, and all of that is working only 40 hours per week MAX - you are never, ever asked to work more than that.
