Pizza Delivery Driver

What I liked

There was lots of variety because we had different tasks to do every day. My coworkers are all really fun and everyone is happy to talk. It is fun to drive around listening to music, and you get free pizza!

What I wish was different

It was hard to navigate apartment complexes. Also in the afternoons it was often boring because there were few deliveries. Fridays were very stressful because of the volume of orders.

Advice

Don't feel bad if you make a mistake starting out- everyone does it and you will learn how to do the job well.

What I liked

Delivering pizzas was an awesome summer job, and I loved the freedom it gave me. The hours were pretty nice, I worked about 5-6 days a week averaging about 25-30 hours a week, usually working around 5 PM into the night. The job is super easy and fun, and the environment is great.

What I wish was different

I wish I had more control scheduling my hours.

I would urge someone to advocate for themselves when negotiating hours or bosses will take advantage of your complacency and leniency.
