I enjoyed working directly with Chris and the other intern everyday. We had constant communication throughout the internship program and he was a big help in guiding us in the right direction. He let us figure out a lot on our own before coming in and adjusting things, which I liked as well because it helped me understand the field more.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have gone into the office in person. Due to Covid-19, this was not necessarily a feasible option but I would have enjoyed going down to Baltimore to see the office.
Advice
Have a basic understanding of real estate terminology and financial statements/ratios. Also make sure to know a little bit about investing.

Received a lot of attention as an intern, great first internship experience to learn more about Real Estate Capital Markets.
Great people to work with, really focus on work-life balance and making sure you are getting the most out of your experience.

I wish there were more analysts working alongside with me.
Advice
Go into this experience with a very open-mind. The supervisors are incredibly smart and experienced and will be willing to help you out in anyway possible as long as you make the effort to learn.
