I liked working for a private Country Club because all of my tables were familiar faces and I was able to connect with the families on a closer level compared to a regular restaurant. I also liked the atmosphere of the members who belonged to the country club. All members were in high up positions in their own professions and loved to give me advice for my future endeavors.
What I wish was different
I wish management had been different this past summer. The problems did get better as the summer went on but took a long time to get everyone on the same page.
Advice
My advice for working in a country club would be to take the opportunities from members. Also, some advice for working in any type of service job would be to not take everything so personal.
