I loved learning on the job. The other technicians were great, the owners were magnificent when it came to teaching me procedures and ways to calm down an already scared animal.
What I wish was different
I wish the pay would've been different, nowadays one can't just complete an internship without having to worry about the bills.
Advice
Always visit the locations prior to or after applying. It's important for potential employers and internship opportunities to put a face to the name. This will show them that you really mean business, and they might just interview right then and there.
