What I liked

The work was extremely rewarding, as I was working on actual projects for clients that I saw the results of. I had a heavy workload each day of meaningful work and interacted with clients on a daily basis. The culture was definitely a big highlight of working at Origami. It was a very collaborative environment that helped me grow and learn, and everyone was happy to help me. I genuinely enjoyed going into work and became friends with many of my co-workers.

What I wish was different

The interns had to learn a lot at a fast pace, which was overwhelming at times. There were definitely plenty of resources to turn to, but having additional training throughout the summer beyond the first week would've been helpful to further advance our skills.

Advice

I would highly recommend this internship to anyone looking to challenge themselves to learn a lot, interact with clients and work hard every day. Origami treats you like a real person and is full of wonderful people, so don't be afraid to get to know them. It's an awesome experience.
