Open Hand Atlanta

Open Hand Atlanta Intern

May - August 2020 • Atlanta, GA

What I liked

Very hands on experience and they train you to be able to do tasks on your own. It also gives you a different perspective of what you can do with a food science or nutrition degree outside of private businesses or clinical settings.

What I wish was different

I wish covid wasn't happening, that way I would have been able to see more of what goes into keeping a place like Open Hand Atlanta open and see more of the business aspect.

Advice

Speak to the people who work their about their experiences in college and how they came to be working here and their plans for the future. Information like this is useful when making decisions about your own future career.
