Open Door Clinic

About Open Door Clinic

The Open Door Clinic provides access to quality healthcare services, free of charge, to those who are uninsured or under-insured and who meet financial eligibility guidelines; services are provided in a compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive manner until a permanent healthcare provider can be established.

Volunteer providers see patients by appointment only Tuesday evenings in Middlebury, every other Thursday evening in Vergennes, and occasional Friday mornings in Middlebury. Our dedicated staff and volunteers work together as a team to provide high-quality comprehensive care. All of our providers are volunteers from our local community: physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists, chiropractors, nurses, dietitians, dentists, and mental health counselors. In addition to medical providers, we rely upon volunteer support for medical interpretation and administrative support.
