What I liked

I really liked the fact that the creative power was truly in my hands. It required a lot of collaboration, but the end result was my own.

What I wish was different

I think that if the support raising had been communicated a little better I would have been less stressed. To caveat that, however, the entire support raising system was changed the summer I was there, and the end result of that was easier than at the beginning.

Advice

Just go for it! Going out into a ministry setting is always a little scary at first. This place and these people are amazing and I wouldn't take it back for the world. Going out and doing an internship like this can also focus your career search as well. You can figure out if it is really for you!

Because of COVID we didn't have an office space which was good and bad

I loved the passion from everyone on the team. They really emphasized discipleship and wanted you to grow in your skills and walk with God.

What I wish was different

I wish that it had been in person, but I understand we coildn't with Covid.

Advice

Go all in. Invest yourself and you'll see growth in ways you may not have expected.
