What I liked

Omics LIVE's "60 Seconds" online magazine is set up to allow its writers and editors creative freedom to write about what interests them, which helps you learn to trust your own instincts. It's a warm and welcoming environment and the founder, Sherri, is incredibly kind and helpful.

What I wish was different

Nothing that I can think of, my experience has been very positive.

Advice

Start looking for someone to do an interview with right away, and make a list of multiple options in case the first person you ask is unable to do it. Part of the internship requires that you submit an "Executive Interview" with someone about their field/career path, and it isn't always easy to find someone that has the time and is willing to be interviewed.
