Great experience to get to know people, and to make their time while recovering much more bearable.

What I wish was different

Long hours, often don't get out on time, often understaffed, pay rate was a little too low IMO.

Advice

Buy insoles for your shoes, and don't wear crocs.

What I liked

I liked the experience I gained from the job. I enjoyed the other NAs that I worked alongside.

What I wish was different

I wish that some of the registered nurses were nicer. I also think that our wage should be higher due to the amount of hard work that we do.

Advice

I recommend this job to someone looking for patient care experience but they should know it is not easy physically or mentally.
