The only thing that I wish would have been different was that I could have interned with them longer.

Advice

To not listen to what anyone says about working for DHS. Go in with an open mind and learn as much as you can.

What I liked

I loved that everyone was helpful and welcoming. I was able to attend meetings, training, and interact with clients.

What I wish was different

I started a bit late because of a mix up in the office but they allowed me to make up the hours and helped me through everything.

Go in with an open mind and be willing to help out.
