The schedule was very flexible allowing me to work whenever I wanted and the work was very straight forward and easy to get the hang of. I was also left to my own devices most of the time.
What I wish was different
I wish there had been more team interaction. Since my team leads were fairly hands off there wasn't much interaction or work between team members.
Advice
This internship requires good communication. Due to the much of the management being hands off, communication is doubly important. Management does not directly oversee the work being done so interns much communicate what is happening very clearly in their reports.
