You have the opportunity to learn about a lot of basic skills in a Psychology lab, including data entry, filing, preparing for assessments, observational coding and literature review.
What I wish was different
I started to be trained for assessments the second semester I was there so then the first time I would be conducting an assessment would be the third semester. Compared to some other Psychology labs, this might be several semesters late. But this is a large lab so things might be different.
Advice
Be prepared that sometimes things get boring. But this is what happens when you are doing basic tasks.
