I liked working at NTH because it is a smaller company, so I got to work side by side with the project managers.

What I wish was different

I wish I had more opportunities to get out of the office.

This was good experience to learn the difference between being an engineering consultant and being out in the field.

What I liked

Liked the variety of job sites I worked on as well as the newly formed knowledge collected from the various tests that were performed.

What I wish was different

I wish they had me shadow a civil engineer to see what they do on a daily basis.

Advice

Any free time you have on a job site make sure to prep for the next test to be taken and start writing your reports.

I wish I had more opportunities to work with other groups. Covid19 ruined those plans...
