I was able to make a positive impact on low-income communities and change the course of POC children and give them opportunities to learn.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have had more time to prepare, it was definitely last minute and little bit unprepared.
Advice
Stay true to yourself.

What I liked
I liked giving back to children who are growing up right in my home town and opening their eyes to the various opportunities they can have in life.
What I wish was different
I don’t wish anything was different, this was my first time experiencing teaching position and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have that experience.
Advice
Knowledge is key! And you should share it with people who value it and will use it to be successful in their own ways. When you get up the ladder, reach back down and help the next generation up so we can empower those who will come after us.
