NRH2O Family Water Park, located in North Richland Hills, Texas, was established in 1995 as the first municipally owned waterpark in Texas. Entering its twenty-ninth summer of operation, the park is a top family attraction in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and continues to expand. This 17-acre waterpark includes over 20 slides, the world’s largest uphill water coaster, a 5-level interactive water playground, a children’s area, wave pool, endless river, and a lagoon style pool. NRH2O also features the world’s first Viper, a thrill ride for the family, which was featured on the Travel Channel. NRH2O is known in the Metroplex for its safe, friendly, clean environment. NRH2O traditionally opens the week before Memorial Day and closes after Labor Day. Approximately, eighty percent of guests live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, while the other twenty percent of attendance is comprised of tourists.
