What I liked

I loved getting to know the other interns, full time employees at NRC Health, and overall learning more about the healthcare world. It was an amazing experience and I'm grateful to be continuing at the company.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have had more in person interaction, but COVID made that tough.

Advice

I would say to reach out to people within the company and form connections. It will make you stand out AND make your experience that much better.

What I liked

The summer intern program at NRC Health is very well set-up and the company has a great culture and purpose.

What I wish was different

I feel that I'm not a great fit for my role and that the role description wasn't completely accurate to what I do now.

Advice

Talk to your professors about finding an internship! I got my internship SO last minute through my personal network. I had reached out to a professor about internships in marketing and she sent me a list, and gave me a wonderful letter of recommendation for an NRC internship. I ended up not being the right year for the internship, but NRC actually reached out to me about another role later on.
