Finance Intern

July 2018 • Tysons Corner, VA

What I liked

I enjoyed the fluidity and opportunity to work in multiple divisions, such as Procurement, Accounting and M&A. It was an amazing experience to work with the tech side of business, learning about how to bring the two sides into one functional unit.

What I wish was different

I wish I had more time there, as I had stayed at Babson for the summer. Because I had completed summer session I, there was only about a month and some to work; there was not enough time to fully absorb the culture of the company.

Advice

I would advise others looking to intern that time is valuable; know what you specifically want out of your time as an intern, as it is easy to get caught up in everything and get lost in the chaos of business.
