Working hours flexibility offered by the lab made the job doable as it was done through a virtual setting. Due to COVID restrictions undergraduate students were not allowed back in labs yet, so they created a virtual position. Overall the lab was very accommodating.
What I wish was different
I wish the lab would have taken a bigger interest in training me properly at the beginning instead of 100% doing busy work rather than a mix of the two components.
Advice
If you are trying to join a lab, ask to have a tour of the lab and speak to current members. This will allow you to get a feel for the atmosphere of the lab and make sure you are a good fit.
