I liked the variety of roles I was able to work on. I also liked how I was able to give my input and work on different projects. I liked the friendly school culture at that institution. I also liked how I was able to work closely with the principal and develop a good relationship with her.
What I wish was different
I wish that I was able to start experience earlier on in the year so that I will have more time to observe how the curriculum is taught during the academic school year. I would have also liked to be more involved in the classroom for the upper elementary grade levels (3rd, 4th, 5th)
Advice
My piece of advice would be to be open-minded and flexible to changes. Be creative and apply that to everything that is handed to you. The experience is what you create it to be.
