Northern Frontier is over 75 years old. We are grateful to many men and women who listened to God's calling to build and start this great camp. We are a christian wilderness camp for boys in the Adirondacks in upstate NY. We see about 700 campers a summer mostly 1-week at a time. We hire about 30 collegians (age 18 and up) for our summer staff, 10-16 junior counselors (ages 16-17), and about 15 other administrative positions. We also have done internships in youth ministry, outdoor education, and video. We build godly character, build servant hearts, and teach leadership skills all while doing outdoor wilderness activities. The camp has programs for 6-8 year olds called Tree Climbers, 8-11 year olds called Stockade, Battalion for ages 12-16, and several Father/Son programs as well. We also run out-of-camp week long backpacking trips, kayak, rock climbing, fishing, and more.
