I had the opportunity to work in the crime labs DNA unit this summer. I was able to do research to help better the laboratories processes for DNA analysis. I also had the opportunity to work in the firearms unit which I will be returning to for a full time job position in June of 2020
What I wish was different
I would not want anything to be different. My internship at the crime lab offered me real world experience from multiple disciplines in the lab.
Advice
Use great communication skills to network with your peers in a professional setting. Always ask questions to absorb all the learning experiences possible throughout your internship.
