What I liked
My experience was both rewarding and eye-opening. I became much more knowledgeable about the finance industry as a whole and learned the true role of a Financial Advisor/Planner. My job was very hands on, included a ton of networking and pushed me to go outside of my comfort zone. Overall, I took pride in being able to help those around me achieve both their financial and personal goals.
What I wish was different
Advice
One piece of advice I would give to others in this exact role or in an internship role would be to come every day ready to learn something new. Internships go by extremely fast and I did my best to make the most of it. I came in with a good attitude each day, attempting to gain more knowledge and become better equipped to work in the industry.
