“I love that all the Land Alliance staff work together and are dedicated to their mission. I was surprised to see all the different kinds of work that go into conservation, and how they all come together towards that goal. The primary goal of the internship, stewardship, gave us a lot of good hands-on work. But I’ve learned so much more beyond that, through making educational programs, kids events, learning GIS, seeing how a non-profit is run, and more. I’m thankful for that, and I think that diversity of experience are signs of a great internship program. ”
