I loved the field work and learning the various invasive species and how to treat them. I also loved learning several bird, insect and amphibian species along with their mating calls and behavioral patterns.
What I wish was different
Hours, the organization was non profit so the hours were limited for each employee.
Advice
If you’re looking into something with conservation or environmental science in general, this is the job for you!! It is very hands on in learning animal behavior and species along with how invasive and natural species compete with each other. You also learn a lot about how humans impact ecosystems
