Formed in 1982, the North Carolina Coastal Federation works in the 20 coastal counties of the state to protect and restore its coastal resources. Three offices serve the coast of N.C and its 11,000 supporters. The federation works at the local, state, national and international levels to improve stewardship of coastal resources.
