COVID-19 definitely changed the experience. It would have been nice to have the in-person experience more.

Make connections, find something you're passionate about, and take notes about the tasks you complete.

What I liked
The culture at Nextworld is amazing. They highly value community and I found it easy to ask for help when I needed it. There were some people who would play ultimate frisbee on Fridays after work in Washington Park and being a part of that was so much fun.
What I wish was different
I would have liked to get to know the other interns a little better. It also would have been nice to sit near my Scrum team, but that was a logistical issue.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask for help. Everyone there is always ready to share their knowledge with you.
