What I liked
Hands-on experience with current legislation and the ability to further my knowledge of NYS current and proposed legislation. Staff were all very involved with interns and the environment was always supportive and kind.
What I wish was different
Financial compensation would have made this role better.
Advice
Always attend events if offered the opportunity, there are great networking opportunities with high profile people most of the time.
