The commute was pretty long, about 1hr and 15 min - 2 hours. Wish it was shorter.

Never be afraid to ask questions Speak to as many people as possible Grow your network on the job

What I liked

It was my first experience in the sports industry and it was everything I could’ve imagined. Being able to work for a world-class professional baseball organization like the New York Mets taught me so many valuable lessons. I had important responsibilities and understood important detail is. I loved being able to go on the field and also interact with the full-time staff.

What I wish was different

Absolutely nothing.

Advice

Make sure to have professional attire ready. Always be ready to meet people within the organization and have conversation starters ready.

Advice

Always work on your attitude and constantly be positive. Even though you might think some of the work you do is pointless as an intern but in reality, you are the lifeline of the organization. All the work that you do as an intern is what keeps the organization functioning. You will make the life of other associates significantly easier by doing the work you do.
