It was an amazing experience where I learned to apply the things at I have learned at USU. I gained extremely valuable Excel skills and got to participate in real world projects that directly helped the company.
What I wish was different
With COVID things had to be a little different so that was a bit of a challenge
Advice
There is nothing that can replace getting real world experience, I would t trade it for anything. The skills I learned are skills that cannot be learned in school. Internships are extremely important.

What I liked
The company culture is absolutely amazing! NYL is truly a people-centered environment to work for and I highly recommend this internship to anyone. They are also flexible with letting you choose your projects if you end up on a track you don't click with immediately.
