I loved how welcoming the environment was at NYDIS. They had amazing workshops to offer to their employees. I took part in their mental health first aid training. It was hybrid. I met some amazing people there.

Advice
You learn to use canva and other soft ware for commercials and advertisements. It’s an interesting place for you to connect with others. Also, you get to see the great people behind who are helping with the increase in homelessness in NYC.

What I liked
I liked that I was able to make a positive difference for people who were negatively impacted by COVID-19. I was also able to learn more about the social work field.
