It was a professional environment with people who had experience working in other fields. I was able to work on art projects that tackled hard topics. I learned so much working over the summers, I get to go back every year and I see lots of improvement in myself.
What I wish was different
I wish there were a clearer goal for my work, There is a task but I'm often left to make most of the design choices which is not a bad thing but I end up not hearing much about my work so I assume everyone likes it.
Advice
I would share with anyone who would work in a professional environment to learn about who you are working with, what they do, what your company/ organization works with, and what they have done. Also to prepare to introduce yourself, more than just who you are and where you came from but what you are going to do and your expectations are with the people you work with. Be excited to learn and show off your skills.
