The New Orleans Family Justice Center offers various services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. These on-site services are provided through a partnership with the following agencies:
Counseling Services
Provides sexual assault crisis counseling. Services include individual and group counseling, medical advocacy, referrals, outreach, and education.
Children & Youth Services
The Children’s program at New Orleans Family Justice Center provides children with a safe environment to play, while a parent or caregiver receives support services.
Social Change / Public Policy
The New Orleans Family Justice Center works to create an effective community response to the issue of family violence with a two-pronged approach: ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION
Our advocacy efforts seek to ensure that survivors, their children, and those at risk of family violence are protected and are treated compassionately.
Emergency Safe Housing
Crescent House provides comprehensive free services. Services include: Counseling (Individual and Group), Crisis Intervention, 24-hour Crisis Line, Comprehensive Case Management, Community Training and Education, Intervention Services for Children, Emergency Safe Shelter, and Legal Advocacy.
Education/Employment Services
Offers educational and employment opportunities that will assist survivors of domestic violence to move from short-term safety to long-term security, and to an economically sustainable independent life.
Transitional Housing
To assist survivors and their children with safe affordable housing options as they gain economic stability and achieve their personal goals
Violence Prevention
The New Orleans Family Justice Center is dedicated to educating about, and bringing awareness of, domestic violence and sexual assault issues to individuals and groups in the New Orleans metropolitan area.
