Was encouraged to learn manufacturing processes, receiving hands on training by technicians and floor engineers. Received training from and worked along side design engineers. Converted customer drawings to full 3D models, watching parts I designed go from sampling through production and shipping.
What I wish was different
More supervision would have been helpful, however this allowed me freedom to find areas in the company that I wanted to learn more about.
Advice
Don't be shy! Ask questions and try to throw yourself head first into this opportunity.

Supply Chain Management Intern
January - April 2022 • Leominster, MA
What I liked
Consistent on the job training in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Was able to hone a lot of the skills I had learned in supply chain management and data analysis. Worked with a variety of different departments to understand how they influenced the internal supply chain and production of goods. I was also given time and resources to improve my understanding of their ERP system and create data visualizations through Power BI. Super welcoming community environment!
What I wish was different
Worked throughout the semester, wish I had the opportunity to experience the internship as a full time position.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask a lot of questions and try and get exposure to all parts of the business!
