What I liked
I liked how i got the opportunity to meet people from various Divisions at NDOT and how I sometimes was able to assist in field work.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more field work experiences. Also, it was difficult for my supervisors to find tasks for both me and the other intern to do. (Environmental Majors hired to work in an IT team of the Stormwater Division, so they sometimes did not know what kind of work they could give us).
Advice
NETWORK. Get your face and name out there even just once to every division.
