control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR), cyber, and space systems across all warfighting domains. NIWC Pacific supports the development, acquisition, and fielding of leading-edge C4ISR systems. Major
technical efforts are directed toward merging advanced technology and systems into integrated C4ISR Capabilities. Our work at SSC Pacific ranges from basic research and prototype development through systems engineering and integration to life-cycle support of
fielded systems. While most of our work addresses the Navy’s needs, we actively support Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, and Coast Guard programs. Other Government agencies, such as the Department of Homeland Security, frequently call on our C4ISR
expertise. We also partner with industry, academia and other non-governmental entities. Contracts Department. The Contracts Department is responsible for providing NIWC Pacific with end-to-end management and execution of the contracting process from
solicitation, evaluation, and award of contracts and agreements, through close-out. The Contracts Department obligates in excess of $1 Billion annually.
