I wish that I could have had more time to impact the lives of others and stay in the community of fellow counselors.

What I liked
I loved getting to be pushed physically, emotionally and spiritually this summer. I was given the opportunity to put myself aside so that I can prioritize taking care of my children in my group. I was blessed to have so many amazing children and a lot of them I will remember for a long time.
What I wish was different
Man, I am not sure. I absolutely loved this summer and I don't really wish to change anything. I think it would actually be fair to say that I would wish nothing would be different especially when I go back.
Advice
It's not about you. One thing I saw this summer with some staff members is that they got distracted from feelings of jealousy or selfish desire. But that is not the reason you are there during the summer. Your goal and priority is to reflect the love of Christ to those around you. And if you get so distracted in something that you really want to do, then you would be distracted from your overall goal.
