I would advise you to go in open minded to a nanny job. Also, make sure you are stern when scolding the kids or else they will not respect you.

I was able to work with children of multipel ages. This will help me in my future career as a teacher. One piece of advice I would give someone is to find a job or internship that can give you some type of experience of what your future career will be.

I was thrown in the classroom and challenged to find my teaching style very quickly. I had a lot of experience in the classroom and discovered that I really wanted to be a teacher.
What I wish was different
Because I found this internship through personal means, everything was under the table. I didn't know there was another English teacher there and he was teaching in a different way and I wish we could have worked together.
Advice
I suggest getting all the information about pay and living situations and expectations before signing a contract.

I liked the opportunity to learn from professional workshops with women in science as well as apply what I learned to a professional research lab setting.

I wish the financial situation could’ve been different, but that is being worked on. I overall wouldn’t want to change anything.
Advice
I would advise finding a project and a lab that is a right fit for you because if you do not then it will be a long summer.

Friendly staff, lots of Friendly customers as well. I felt like I was truly making a difference in the lives of the people that came through the doors of the missionary.

I wish I didn't get moved from station to station, but I'm also glad I did, because it gave me an opportunity to grow with the other employees there.
Advice
Volunteer work at Mission Arlington can be rewarding, but there are lots of Christians, so if you are picky on your religious friends, please don't try to volunteer there and mess up their kind-hearted vibes.

Having more freedom with my creativity in how I take care of the kids, and having more of a social environment with other people my age.
Advice
Make sure that you have a backup job that you can hold onto, because you never know what your employers will do and if they might drop you at anytime for no reason. It would make your life MUCH easier.
