The homogenous mixture of classroom and operating room training that takes place during the fellowship. After certification, we may have hard days, but not hard lives.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish was different is that more people knew about what we do. Relocating is almost a must, as demands for CNIM’s are growing across the nation and fellowships are highly competitive.
Advice
For the patients sake, learn as much as you can from the various individuals you may shadow and learn to optimize your data. Don’t be afraid to be you!
