What I liked
I loved getting to work up close and personal with touring professionals while learning the process of taking a show from design to final product.
What I wish was different
I wish there was the occasional in depth training in addition to on the job learning in different aspects of the career such as rigging training or training in basic lighting programming, etc.
Advice
It is what you make of it! If you go out of your way to ask questions, observe, and learn, you will go far and be trusted with more and more responsibilities.
